Made you look.

The loss of independent music venues in Washington could have had devastating effects on the state’s arts and entertainment industry, not to mention its historic music culture. Keep Music Live was a COVID-19 relief fund whose mission was to save these venues from permanent closure. We created an eye-catching identity and out-of-home campaign to announce the initiative. The campaign used displays disguised as new construction signage, installed on nine iconic venues across the state, and evoked visceral responses from communities leading to awareness and donations. Covered in The Seattle Times. Recognized with an Addy’s Judge’s Choice Award, as well as Silver OOH.

“I saw the image of the ‘Coming Soon’ sign on Neumos and my stomach sank. Once I read it more it clarifies this is what could happen, but it stopped me in my tracks”

Taylor Mims Billboard Magazine

“Whoever’s idea it was to run the ‘notice of proposed land use action’ campaign on music venues is a marketing genius”
