We never left.
In an era when many NBA teams were creating campaigns that celebrated their fan-base, we decided to celebrate the rich history, dedication and unrelenting optimism of a fan base who had their beloved team stolen. It’s been damn near 20 years since Seattle was stripped of the SuperSonics, a crucial component of the city’s cultural landscape. Our first championship. First parade. First love. And with all of the noise circulating about possible expansion, it’s as relevant as ever to remind the league that while the team is gone, the fans never left. Covered by The Seattle Times.
Project: Bring ‘Em Back
Made at World Famous in association with Sonics fans everywhere, including friends Alan Nay, Matt McCain, Vik Sharma, Duncan Dickerson, Joel Voelker, Ryan Rothermel & more…

“Bring ‘Em Back sure packs a punch — and all at once, breaks and fills the heart for anyone who still carries a torch for the Seattle SuperSonics”
Nicole Brodeur Seattle Times
“I’ve had this video on repeat all day”
George Karl Hall of Fame, Former Sonics Coach
We also created a website and a grass-roots social media campaign that invited fans to submit and share their stories, memories and what the team meant to them. The social campaign received hundreds of submissions, including former players and Seattle mayor Mike McGinn.
