The average person goes to the bathroom five times a day and uses 6.7 sheets of toilet paper per visit, but nobody cares which brand they use. The amazing Lisa Bright, Nok SangdeeJohn Potter and team at FCB wanted people to think of wiping as an act of conscious self-care - and pivot Cottonelle from a toilet paper brand to a skincare brand. I was brought in to direct the multi-year long campaign. Little did we know using a sweet little peach to help us get our point across was going to be so controversial with the networks, getting the spots banned and spawning it's own #FreeThePeach social campaign.
